16. The reason why you should always test the product before promoting

 So why should you always test a product before promoting it.


Well there's quite a few good reasons why you should do that.


Simply if you're going to promote something it's important to know all about the product.


Because customers at the end of the day that can be quite small.


And if you were writing down a few words having never seen the product they're going to pick up on the


energy in the words they're going to know that what you're promoting is something that is more of a


sales pitch than it is a recommendation because you would remember that people at the end of the day


they buy from people and they buying off the back of trust and then buying off the back of the recommendation.


So you should always always test the product first so you want to be able to know when you're going


out on your blogs or you know you're saying to people that this is a product they should they should


consider be able to talk about the pros and cons of that product but very importantly you should be


able to say why it's helped you because if it's helped you in some way then other people are going to


buy into that and think well that's going to help me as well.


And that is a reason why I'm going to do it.


So to test the product means you need to buy it.


So that's your first option.


You can go and buy it.


However you can always go to the vendors and you can ask them to get a free version of that course.


Now here's the thing.


If you go to them and you say give me the product give me a free copy they'll either ignore you or you'll


get straight no.


And then you've got a problem because that means that you're going to have to buy it and spend your


20 bucks or you 50 bucks to be able to get it in.


So what I would recommend that you do is when you go to the vendor say to them all the different ways


that you want to promote this product you know be passionate and and say you know they're going to make


a massive effort and you're going to be able to generate hopefully you know a whole lot of income for


both of you.


And if you do that as the approach to the vendor event is going to be very keen to take you on board


because if you imagine a vendor gets I don't know say 10 people asking for the free product you know


in five of them are just saying just give it to me Give it to me in the other five are saying I want


to work with you I'm going to do this I'm going to do that.


This is how I'm going to promote it.


This is your activity and you just kind of just mentioned a few things.


As a vendor the vendor is going to ignore the first five are just saying give it to me for free.


And he's always going to go with the other five because he knows they're making an effort.


You know that these are the guys that are serious about doing this and you should always do that.


Now that means you're passionate you're knowledgeable you're able to promote the product and statistically


you're eight times more successful when you know something about the product than when you don't.


So if you think about it and you're gonna promote a product and you know nothing about it you know you're


only going to earn a certain amount of income but you're now in a position having bought the product


or been given it for free.


And you know about it and your passion about earning eight times as much money.


So it's really important to go down that route of being able to test the product know the good things


about it maybe even even knowing some of the things that it's you know less good about is important


as well and how it helps you because if you're able if you're able to say to people you know look this


is how it helped me.


This is the things I've seen it done.


This is how it helped a friend of mine.


You know these are the benefits of it.


People will buy that.


They will click through then they're looking at the product you feel it's that they promoted that the


vendors produced and off the back of that the number of sign ups that you'll get the product will be


much much higher.
