17. How to dodge unprofitable and undesirable products

 In this lecture we're going to talk about how to avoid unprofitable products.


And there's three ways of doing this three areas that you can do it.


So the first one is to avoid high refund rates.


I know it sounds obvious but there are some products that will attract higher refund rates.


Now there is nowhere on the click pain site that it tells you what the refund rates are.


If there was it would make things an awful lot easier.


So you've got to look at the niches in which you can sell things.


So many of you one issue is an example forex.


So we're talking about here a software product is aimed at a particular type of person with knowledge


about financial service markets.


Now that's okay if you're aiming at those exact people but if a people that you're aiming to saying


this is a good idea have no knowledge in this area then they're going to buy it and you're gonna see


the sale but then very quickly going to basically request a refund.


And remember that with click bait.


You have 60 days to do that.


So in 60 days there is always the opportunity that there's you know there's gonna be refunds and your


sales are going to be less.


So choose your niches very carefully because you have no way of knowing exactly what the performance


of the products like and that was why it's always important to test the product to see how good it is.


First of all now the second area is with the landing page as provided by the vendor has too much content


on it.


And it takes you away from making a buying decision.


So maybe some examples here.


So let's take some Spanish very good product.


Go to Synergy Spanish and we push on the landing page you get this really nice landing page and there's


no distractions.


Just take you down the page very well put together very well written very well presented and this is


great.


This is absolutely perfect.


Now that's fine.


So there's no distractions on that.


And that's exactly what you're looking for.


However there are people who do have landing pages.


Now this happens to be synergy Spanish his main web site.


And what you're trying to avoid is things where they've got blogs.


So people go on this and they see a blog and they get distracted and they click on the blog and they're


away reading other things.


And before you know it they're off the site they've never made a decision.


So what you're looking for is like with Synergy Spanish is the main site.


It has no distractions.


It's just just a question of do you want to buy.


Do you not want to buy.


And that decision is really really important.


The third area is support.


You want to basically go with vendors that are giving you support.


That's how you can avoid unprofitable products.


So with Synergy Spanish for example and their main page they say nothing if I go all the way down to


the bottom about Easter here.


Anything to do with affiliates.

you to support that particular product to support you as the affiliate.

So the you know that you have here somebody that's thought about what you as an affiliate need to put


together a really clever well thought through package.


And they're going to be there supporting you.


So this type of product is likely to sell.


So so therefore to avoid unprofitable products you want to find which vendors are supporting you with


all of these right products.


So those are the three areas right.


Avoid high refund rates.


Avoid landing pages that have too much content and avoid vendors that give you no affiliate support.
