25. How to pick the right WiX landing page

 So what we can be doing now is we can be creating a landing page and a landing page is basically something

that you can drive traffic to as opposed to sending them direct to a vendor's page in a product so that

you can you can control the traffic.

You can then retain that as people's information on your site but more importantly you can actually

promote more than one product.

And so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to show you how we do this using Wix.

So what is this.

Mean I use Wix for building all my Web sites because it's so easy.

And it's also so cheap.

Now I'm in the UK so I'm going to show you what the cost is to be able to do with them.

So you know depending on where you are we're going to kind of convert some of these things into dollars

so the package that I use is this one here.

It's about a 100 quid.

So probably where you are maybe about 80 dollars but in that you can see you actually get a free domain

for the first year you could pay for it in the second year.

So that's probably worth maybe 10 dollars depending on which one you're going to do.

And you get ad vouchers which is really important.

So you're using that vouchers wisely then basically you know you're going to basically have a site there

for nothing.

And what I found is and I've got I've got multiple sites is that with weeks they like to then promote

a 50 percent discount if you're doing a second site.

So if you've got weeks and you've done it with one site and then you're building something on background

which have still to go live then pop up with these adverts and give you them like half price and 50

quid for your own Web site or was that about thirty five dollars is a fantastic deal.

So what we're gonna do in this one is we're going to register and then I'm going to take you in.

So that's just go into here.

Now I've already got one with them and so I'm just going to register here and give me a second

log in that room.

So tell you know we have these feelings.

What you're doing is that sounds better.

So here we go.

Right so we're now in the first stage is to create your own Web site so you saw me go to the the button

here and the top I ask you what kind of website do you want to create.

So you will get all of these choices when you get further in all of these templates all these different

Web sites being put together rather than looking for something that's got multiple pages we're looking

for something that's just really a landing page it has one simple page.

So let's go into business you then get a choice of letting them design it for you which you can do but

I don't think there's any need because once you get used to the software on here I'm going to go through

this choose a template you'll find how easy it is but it means that you can change things really really

quickly.

So on the left hand side we have all the business types of Web sites that you can actually go for.

And then as I said you they will give you the list of all the different like you know design based Web

sites with all of these things if you want to have a look at them you just pushed view

and you can just close it down and you can actually get to see what the Web site looks like.

You can just kind of push all these buttons and you get a feel of what it looks like.

Let's just go back a little on design to take you down here to this section called landing pages and

within landing pages you put two types you've got the coming soon selecting like a Web site about start

a promotional pages and what you're looking to do is really make your life dead that simple.

And so what you've got here are a whole number of different sites simply just one page and all the images

that you see on here.

You can change all the wording you can change you can add whatever you want to them.

So what we're gonna do is we're going to create a site very shortly.

And what we're going to do is we're going to use this one here because it's just so well you can see

up here it's free.

It's just so easy to use solutions view it and then as you can see is there is very little on here just

a name nice video.

That's the thing with works as well if you wanted to have movement even as a backdrop you can actually

have that and you can use all of their own video to do it.

And on this as you're about to see they've got thousands of images that you can use to do it.

So that's what we're going to do.
