19. Why it is so important to add a tracking ID to your hoplinks

 Why is it important to add a tracking link.

So let me just show you this.

We're going to use the Potbelly fix and remember you just go to promote and then you nickname and they

say we're gonna use blog number two as an area to do some promotion.

So you second block and you create your hyperlink.

So here's your uplink.

Just as a quick reminder with the very end of it says blow number two.

So this is where people really really go wrong that they have this great product they they're getting

go and do marketing and promotions over here and over here and over here and they might they might do

four or five or even eight nine ten different types promoting the product and then they suddenly see

money coming in get all excited do more promotions and then see more money coming in and then the penny

drops and they go where the money actually come from because I've done 10 10 different types of promotions

from blogs and maybe stuff on Facebook and through you know my my landing page them and they have no

idea.

And statistically 80 percent of your income will come from 20 percent of your activity.

So they'll be certain things that you will do.

They're then going to generate the vast majority of your money.

And if you fail to track each of your promotional activities you'll fail to know what's making you money

so suddenly you've got all this money coming in but you have no idea was it.

This blog is it that blog or was it something I put over here in terms of how that activity worked.

And you also need to remember as well that you might have done something a week ago a month ago suddenly

starts to generate money but it might be a lot of money but you have no idea what you did.

If you have no idea what you did.

You've got no way of doing it again.

So here's my recommendation.

Every time you do a different type of activity create new ideas tracking your blog to you know or for

example you might do that say Facebook you know.

And it was the people at Facebook 10 you generate hopping in there you go Facebook 10 and then you can

see where that money is coming from and what you should do is and create a table.

So you have a table and it lists from top to bottom each of your different tracking ideas.

And then what you did with them.

And so if money is coming in immediately you know where it's coming from and if money suddenly turns

up from things you did a month ago you know exactly what you did then.

So you go and do it again.

So suddenly if 80 percent of your money is coming from 20 percent of your activities you're then able

to focus your time exactly on what's making you money.

If you do that you will make considerably more money than just a slapdash approach of putting out all

your promotion without tracking it.

So that is why it is important that you use these tracking links in every part of your promotion.
